Relax in the iodine-brine spa in Bad Bevensen

The barrier-free Jod-Sole-Therme is nestled in the spa gardens of Bad Bevensen and provides lasting relaxation with its extensive bathing and sauna landscape and a large spa and vitality centre. The thermal water in the indoor and outdoor pools is between 32 and 35 degrees, and the sauna garden and outdoor facilities are a great place to cool down.

Iodine brine: healing minerals in the thermal water

The iodine brine that bubbles up in the thermal water is a natural remedy and helps with various clinical pictures. For example, it helps with rheumatic and circulatory complaints, respiratory diseases, post-operative treatment and much more. And iodine brine is also a mental stimulant. So those who bathe in it do something for their own health quite incidentally.

Saunning as the mood takes you

Including the steam baths, guests can choose between ten different saunas: From the herbal sauna, outdoor log cabin saunas, salt sauna and sanariums, no wish is left unfulfilled here. From the 70-degree brine experience room built on stilts, the sauna terrace and the relaxation room with panoramic windows, the view sweeps far across the spa gardens. The very large brine experience room is accessible by lift and barrier-free. It is part of the SOLE & SALZWelt, which also includes a cosy fireplace corner and small graduation towers. Here the brine drips slowly and steadily - good for bronchial tubes and lungs to breathe in.

Spa & Vitalcenter in the iodine-brine spa

Whether prescribed by a doctor or for one's own well-being - in the Spa & Vitalcenter guests can enjoy a wide variety of healing procedures. Sound and aromatic oil massages, massages with soap foam or hot stones and treatments from the South Seas or Ayurveda are wonderful ways to switch off.

Relaxation with strong brine and mineral mud

Sensual, soothing extras include the floating bath, where you float alone or in pairs, in a pool of warm strong brine. The Rasul healing earth bath pampers with a body scrub with nutrient-rich healing earth. Sound massages, relaxing baths and special relaxation rooms such as the sand bath are further offers of the Spa & Vital Centre.

Accessibility at the Jod-Sole-Therme

People who are dependent on a rollator or wheelchair can also use the Jod-Sole-Therme in Bad Bevensen. The entrance to the Jod-Sole-Therme is possible via a barrier directly next to the main cash desk.

The Jod-Sole-Therme also has large changing rooms and additional shower wheelchairs (with transfer lifts). You can obtain the key for the changing room cupboard, a shower and sauna wheelchair, a hoist or other assistance if you need it at the cash desk.

Lifting chairs are available for easy access to the outdoor pool II, the health pool, the vitality pool and the relaxation pool. The staff at the Jod-Sole-Therme will be happy to help you operate them.

You can reach the sauna area via a separate entrance by the outdoor pool II.

You can also reach the brine relaxation room in the SOLE & SALZWelt via an elevator.

Reduced admission: Visitors with a disabled pass and a degree of disability of at least 70% receive reduced prices for admission to the iodine brine spa at the main ticket office. The same discount is granted to an accompanying person registered on the disabled person's pass for the same length of stay.
