From the parking lot, the jogging loop first leads clockwise around the Lippesee. You pass the outlet structure, shortly afterwards the village square of Sande and then the row of leisure facilities. After the A 33 underpass, turn left. Cross Hermann-Löns-Straße and walk along Eschenweg past the Thunemühle mill. Then turn right into Thunemühle. Turn right again at the crossroads. Then cross the Thune again and past the farmstead to the Wilhelmsberg forest area. Contrary to the trim trail signs with the distance information, the route now runs through the forest for around two kilometers.
At the 2300-meter sign, turn left out of the forest, cross Hermann-Löns-Straße and run into the residential street Auf dem Bieleken. Keep left at the right-hand bend. A few meters further on, head into the grit path. Keep right at the end and left at the next crossroads. The tour then takes you across the Thunhof site and back under the A33 to the Lippesee, which you follow clockwise to the starting point at Gut Lippesee.
The part of the route around Lake Lippe is very busy in good weather. Therefore, pay particular attention to cyclists!
Take the A 33 freeway to the PB-Schloß Neuhaus exit; then take the B 64 towards Delbrück or Rheda-Wiedenbrück. After about 2.5 kilometers (3rd traffic light) turn right to the parking lot at Gut Lippesee (destination address: Münsterstraße 122, 33106 Paderborn).
