- Mill route for cyclists
The mill route leads through a varied cultural landscape with picturesque villages and lively towns on largely low-traffic farm tracks. Cycle around 270 km along the main route or discover the most beautiful sides of the Mühlenkreis on six day trips of between 50 and 70 km.
- LandArt route
Over 70 stations are connected to form the LandArt route with a focus on art and handicrafts, traditional crafts, galleries, exhibitions, gardens, stages, museums and architecture.

In the Wiehen and Weser mountains, the Mühlensteig connects ten restored mills on 4 daily stages between 11 and 20 kilometers. The Wittekindsweg runs along the ridge of the Wiehngebirge. It leads over 90 km from Osnabrück to Porta Westfalica.
