Free guided tour of the Mittelmühle and the Bohrmühle
After the ceremonial inauguration of the Mittelmühle and the Bohrmühle in summer 2009, the two mills in the Almeauen have become a real tourist attraction.
Due to this high demand, public guided tours take place regularly during the summer months, with the exception of months when special events are taking place.
A tour guide from the Büren local history association will explain the unique history of the mill and the practical operations of the old stone mill in a 60-minute tour.
Participation in the public tours is free of charge. Registration is not required. The meeting point is in front of the Mittelmühle.
