Winzerfest - Die Reblaus
This little "phylloxera" is very popular with winegrowers, which can hardly be said of the small pest. For years, the dwarf phylloxera has been the godfather of a cozy winegrowers' festival under the mighty treetops in the Bad Rothenfeld concert garden. The "phylloxera" had to take a break for two years. But now the historic concert shell (1913) once again provides the perfect backdrop for the winegrowers from Rheinhessen, Baden, Franconia, Nahe and Moselle.
The party is held at long tables in the old spa tradition. The setting thus offers the same homely atmosphere that guests of the wine villages and wineries in the regions love so much.
First and foremost, of course, the fine products from German wine-growing regions are appreciated. The fine wines, sparkling wines and fine brandies are accompanied by hearty mountain cheeses or hearty grilled dishes. "Tipping water while drinking wine" is figurative wisdom and literally recommended at a wine festival. Otherwise the fun will be over by the afternoon and that would be a real shame. Because in the evening it really gets going with live music from various party bands. People dance until they are breathless, sing along and, of course, taste wine.

In the afternoon, the Serenata Ensemble will play subtle light music. On the first evening, the Grafitti party band (https://www.graffiti-partyband.de) from Bielefeld will heat up the atmosphere and on Saturday the Reinhold-Hörauf-Band will go one better. All too soon on Sunday, it's time to say goodbye, which is somewhat softened by musical interludes.
