From the Tegelwiese up the Dörenberg to the highest point in the UNESCO Nature and Geopark TERRA.vita
This trail would have been right up Pastor Kneipp's street: It features various places to tread water, leads through beautiful natural landscapes and gets the circulation going with the ascent to the 331-metre-high Dörenberg.
However, it begins very quietly on the Tegelwiese meadow near Iburg Castle. The water.nature.environment. adventure trail is over a kilometer long and features six stations where you can discover the flora and fauna of different habitats: at a rainwater retention basin, which has been turned into a species-rich biotope for dragonflies, amphibians & Co, at the Kolbach stream with a first water treading area, on a colorful wildflower meadow and in the quiet shade of the forest, where a wave lounger provides a comfortable view of the canopy and sky.
Continue on the TERRA.track, which is one of more than 80 circular trails in the TERRA.vita Nature and UNESCO Geopark. They were created to make special natural areas and showcases of the earth's history accessible. This trail also offers great views - for example of Iburg Castle during the descent from Dörenberg.
