The Lechtinger windmill was built in 1887 by the master miner J.R. Pagenstecher.

The mill's blades turn every mill day and in the fall for the organic and artisan market. Every Saturday, you can buy grist, baking ingredients and organic products at the mill.
The windmill was built in 1887 by Johann Rudolf Pagenstecher, and from its completion to its final closure in 1970, the windmill and the adjacent motorized mill experienced an eventful history. Several tenants and owners have carried out their hard work in the mill.
