Creative cuisine in the loft



The fine-dining restaurant Kesselhaus in Osnabrück was awarded a Michelin Guide star in 2019 and has successfully defended this coveted honour ever since. After various stints in Michelin-starred gastronomy, including at the 3-star restaurant La Vie in Osnabrück, owner and hostess Thayarni Garthoff (née Kanagaratnam) and Chef de Cuisine Randy de Jong have developed their very own style at Kesselhaus. In culinary terms, the Dutchman's modern creations captivate with their love of home and region as well as cosmopolitan, creative flavours. Meanwhile, Thayarni Garthoff, who has been honoured as Maître of the Year by international trade magazine Rolling Pin, provides a special charm and warm hospitality. In addition, the impressive industrial architecture of the Kesselhaus creates the setting for a stylish ambience.

The restaurant is open from Thursday to Sunday, and at weekends there is a smaller menu for lunch in addition to the evening à la carte menu.
