The transformation of the energy sector from fossil fuels to electricity generation from wind, solar and other renewable energies poses significant challenges for the grid-based supply system. Our historically evolved electricity grids will undergo a transformation in the coming decades.

What bottlenecks currently need to be managed and how can the problems of the future in the electricity grid be solved?

The presentation will include information on the situation in grid management and the operation of electricity distribution grids when, in addition to the feed-in of renewable energies, the consumption loads of e.g. heat pumps and electromobility are also taken into account.
