An 850-meter-long beach with sunbathing lawn invites you to laze around

Lively beach fun and quiet discoveries in nature - the Geeste reservoir offers both. The bathing beach is 850 meters long and ends at the Deichkrone café and restaurant. Next to it are the boats of the sailing club, opposite is the clubhouse of the windsurfing club and skate park.

A good six-kilometre hiking trail runs along the dike crest around the lake, offering great views over land and water. The highlight of the nature experience is reached at the species-rich biotope that borders directly on the lake.
