    Varied hike from Lindberg to Großer Falkenstein

    Starting in Lindberg, the 'Silberblatt' (Silver ragwort) hiking trail initially leads to the Weiße Brücke parking area. Hiking through the valley of Höllbach, you steadily ascend to Höllbachschwelle. Afterwards, the trail partially follows steep and rocky paths, crossing the tributaries of Höllbach several times. Finally, you reach the summit of Großer Falkenstein via Sulzschachten.

    Refreshment point at Falkensteinschutzhaus (Please check the opening hours in advance).
    Correct on the go – all the time:


    • Beware of falling trees and deadwood! The use of the path is at your own risk. At strong wind please leave the forest for safety reasons!
    • Path regulations in order to protect endangered plants and animals in certain areas of the national park
    • Please do not leave any trash! Dog poop bags or handkerchiefs do not belong in nature either. Please help to keep our wild forest clean. Thank you!
    Always ensure to have good equipment: card, sturdy shoes, something to drink, first aid kit, bad weather clothing
    The 'Silberblatt' (Silver ragwort) hiking trail can also be easily combined with other hiking paths to create circular routes!
    Example:
    • After ascending Großer Falkenstein with 'Silberblatt' (Silver ragwort), you can descend using the 'Esche' (Ash) hiking trail, which takes you via Kreuzstraßl back to Lindberg.
