Main hiking path ('Tree group') (Klingenbrunn Bahnhof - Bucina)

Stages:
Klingenbrunn Bahnhof - Spiegelau - Diensthüttenstraße - Guglöd - Fredenbrücke – Nationalparkzentrum Lusen (National Park Centre Lusen) - Sagwassersäge - Felswandergebiet - Steinbachklause - Reschbachtal - Reschbachklause - Siebensteinkopf – Teufelshäng

Note:
The Hauptwanderweg (Main Hiking Path) passes through the Riedlhäng Wildlife Sanctuary in the Steinbachklause and Reschbachtal area. To protect the red deer, it is closed from December 1st to May 16th. Please use the signposted detour during this time. Marked trails can be used again starting April 1st. Thank you!
Alternatively, from the Felswandergebiet, you can hike via the Große Kanzel and follow the 'Tanne’ (Fir tree) trail to Mauth, then continue along Reschbachtalstraße.

Correct on the go – all the time:

• Beware of falling trees and deadwood! The use of the path is at your own risk. At strong wind please leave the forest for safety reasons!
• Path regulations in order to protect endangered plants and animals in certain areas of the national park
• Please do not leave any trash! Dog poop bags or handkerchiefs do not belong in nature either. Please help to keep our wild forest clean. Thank you!

Always ensure to have good equipment: card, sturdy shoes, something to drink, first aid kit, bad weather clothing

The Hauptwanderweg (Main Hiking Path) can be easily divided into multiple stages. You can conveniently return to the starting point with the Igelbus.
Along the way, there's much to discover, including the forest playground (Waldspielgelände) or the Nationalparkzentrum Lusen (National Park Centre Lusen).

• Wanderparkplatz Flanitzebene, Klingenbrunn Bahnhof
• P+R Spiegelau (from there, head to the Waldspielgelände (forest playground) to access the Hauptwanderweg (Main Hiking Path))
• Parkplatz Diensthüttenstraße, St. Oswald-Riedlhütte
• Nationalparkzentrum Lusen (National Park Centre Lusen) (from the parking area, follow the 'Gehegerundweg’ (Path around the enclosures) towards Luchs (Lynx) to access the Hauptwanderweg (Main Hiking Path))
• Parking area Sagwassersäge
• Parking area Schwarzbachbrücke
