Look-out experience of nature

The Lindberger Schachten is the third largest one in the national park.

With a size of 9 hectare, the Lindberger Schachten is the third largest Schachten in the Bavarian Forest National Park. During the ascent from Buchenau, taking a look back is always worthwhile. In good weather, there is a magnificent view towards Rachel. At Lindberger Schachten, which was first mentioned in 1619 and which is covered with blueberries up to about 70 percent, there is a shelter, inviting you to have a rest.
