Geological and Mineralogical Museum

The Geological and Mineralogical Museum belongs to the University of Kiel and, as an educational and exhibition collection, shows the diversity of crystals, minerals, rocks and fossils in a permanent exhibition. Models and illustrations are used to explain the history of their origin, their structural structure, their technical or environmental significance. In particular, the geology of Schleswig-Holstein is discussed.
