Fischereimuseum Hohnstorf

The main exhibition is located on the top floor of the Hohnstorf/Elbe municipal administration building at Schulstraße 1a. It presents a collection of documents, photos, writings and fishing-related objects. The exhibition provides an insight into the lives of fishing families both in the past and in the present. A special highlight is the over 250-year-old fishing chest of the Hohnstorf fishing co-operative, in which important documents used to be kept. In addition to the permanent exhibition, there are changing special exhibitions every year.
