Four kilometres from Dümpelfeld you can find Europe’s largest continuous quartzite block.

The natural monument is easily accessible by car and further on a short walk on the hiking trail "Karl-Kaufmann-Weg".  Its peak affords magnificent panoramic views of the mountains of the Eifel region.
