Harbour at Berzdorf Lake, Görlitz

The harbour is located in the south of Berzdorf Lake. For boat owners, there are moorings for sailing boats in the harbour and on land. The harbour café offers delicacies.

North of the habour the hotel "Insel der Sinne" is located. The wellness hotel opened in 2018 as the first hotel at the lake and has a spacious lake terrace with restaurant for all visitors. More information at: www.inseldersinne.de/en/

A little south of the harbour is the hotel "Gut am See", which is located on the castle grounds of the former manor Tauchritz. Further information at: gut-am-see.de

The lake was created from a former open-cast lignite mine. The giant bucket-wheel excavator 1452 in Hagenwerder, near the harbour, tells of this mining tradition.
