Between Rhine Panorama and Castle Town

From Emmelshausen, the first descent towards Utzenhain is not long in coming. After a short climb, the route goes downhill again until shortly before Oberwesel on the Rhine. With some crisp ramps, the route runs via Niederburg and Damscheid back into the Hunsrück. Over its heights you reach the castle town of Kastellaun via Wiebelsheim, Riegenroth, Horn and Daubach. The return route is undulating via Beltheim, Gödenroth, Ebschied and the Schinderhannes cycle path back to Emmelshausen.

Observe the traffic rules, pay attention to other road users and drive at an appropriate speed, especially in the exits. Be considerate of other cyclists and pedestrians.

Via the A 61 exit Emmelshausen and continue via the L 206.

Emmelshausen is easy to reach from Boppard am Rhein with the Hunsrückbahn.
