The bathing beach at the lake 'Pfarwiesensee' mostly packed on hot summer days. It's directly situated in the vicinity of the putdoor pool in Gimbsheim and can be reached over an asphalt ield path. Bathing is free of charge and on your own risk, there's no monitoring through the DLRG. The dredging pond is a popular day trip destination on hot summer days so getting up early is worth it to save a good spot.
The water quality is getting checked regularly. The kiosk offers cool beverages and snacks from may til september from 10am to 8 pm when the weather is good. Restrooms and parking lots are available. Taking small inflatable boats and air matresses with you is allowed here.

Dogs are prohobited

The bathing beach at Pfarrwiesensee is a popular destination on hot summer days. It is located in the immediate vicinity of the open-air swimming pool in Gimbsheim and can be reached via an asphalted field path.
Bathing is free of charge and at your own risk; there is no supervision by the German Lifesaving Society (DLRG). The water quality is checked regularly, the surface area of the lake is approx. 28 hectares (280,000 square metres). Approx. 4 hectares (40,000 square metres) are designated as bathing area.
The beach bar "Kieswerk" offers cool drinks and snacks in good weather from May to September from 11 am to 7 pm.
Toilets and parking spaces are available. Bringing small inflatable boats and air mattresses is allowed here.
Stand-up paddling is also allowed. Barbecues, camping, bringing alcohol and shishas are prohibited.
There are about 550 parking spaces available.
