Clock Museum – La Pendule

The collection of the clock museum in Blieskastel shows 98 precious clocks from the 17th to the 20th century.

Let yourself be enchanted and captivated by excellently preserved clocks, some of which are more than 300 years old. In addition to two clocks from Germany and two wonderful pendulums from England, the remaining 88 timepieces including some Comtoise clocks represent not only the beginnings of the clock in a predominantly agrarian sector of the French Jura, but also and especially the heyday of the French pendulum from the end of the 17th to the 19th century. The most famous clockmakers of their time are represented.
