Bridge that connects the east bank of the river Isar with the "Praterinsel".
The "Kabelsteg" is one of the most beautiful bridges in Munich and is in close to the Isar beach. The steel bridge was built a long time ago in Art Nouveau style and has since that connected the "Parterinsel" with the eastern bank of the river Isar.
From the east bank - with a view of the bridge and the church of St. Luke - there is a wonderful view that is often used as a photo spot.
Especially in summer, when different artists make music in front of the bridge, it is worthwhile to linger on the bridge for a while.
