In dem 160 Meter langen Zugangstunnel werden 400 Millionen Jahre Erdgeschichte und die Geschichte der Kalkindustrie in Wülfrath mit allen Sinnen erlebbar gemacht.

The Zeittunnel (time tunnel) presents a modernised and extended exhibition at an unusual site. The 160-metre-long access tunnel to Bochum Quarry brings 400 million years of geological history and the history of the limestone industry in Wülfrath to life. There ist also a natural history and industrial history educational trail leading around Schlupkothen quarry with its spectacular views.
