Large parking lot on one of the highest mountain peaks in the Palatinate Forest Biosphere Reserve. A well-developed forest path leads from the parking lot to the Kalmithaus and the summit. There are also numerous circular routes, such as the tour through the Felsenmeer natural monument.

From May to October, on Sundays and public holidays, the hiking bus line 503 runs from Neustadt an der Weinstrasse station via Maikammer and Sankt Martin up to the hiking car park.
