In the Strohn Volcano House ("Vulkanhaus Strohn") you can experience that a museum can be anything but boring and uninteresting! Especially with children it is worth a visit, because here volcanism is brought to young and old museum guests in an exciting and interactive way. The fact that the phenomena of volcanism can still be found in the immediate vicinity of the Volcano House "Vulkanhaus"  makes it special.

Small experiments, exhibits hidden in experience walls and walk-in experience rooms will leave amazing impressions. Also discover the unique lava fissure wall, which is more than 12,000 years old and was found during quarrying in the nearby quarry. Today, the wall with a remarkable size - six metres in length and four metres in height - adorns the museum and causes astonished faces.
