Welcome to the winery Thorsten Krieger. In the picturesque southern Palatinate, around the village of Rhodt unter Rietburg, our family has been growing wine since 1652. The winery has been in the family for just as long. Today, between tradition and modernity, Thorsten Krieger manages the estate with great enthusiasm and a willingness to experiment. His constant ambition: to create wines that make you want more.
The traditional winery Thorsten Krieger is family-owned since 1652. The vineyards are distributed around the wine-growing village of Rhodt unter Rietburg in the heart of the Southern Palatinate. A total of about 25 hectares are cultivated. The trained winemaker, graduate in business administration (FH) of the wine industry and state-certified sommelier is responsible for winemaking and leads the family business with enthusiasm and a love of experimentation. Through consistent yield reduction and a selective vintage, great wines are created that convince with excellent quality.
