The park is included in the Garden Dreams conservation and tourist network project. From this time have survived grottos, caves, a mausoleum, a hermitage, a viewing tower, a large zoo and a hunting lodge (restaurant), whose cellar contains the oldest surviving giant barrel in Germany (ca. 137,000 litres, built 1594/1596, the counterpart to the Heidelberg barrel). The park is a popular destination for day-trippers, with its network of paths and facilities for sporting activities.
